In 2017 Huawei joined us as a Corporate Partner. They intend to use their position as a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider and second largest manufacturer of smartphones to amplify Internet Matters’ internet safety message and provide support and resources for Internet Matters which gives UK parents, teachers and carer’s advice and guides about the latest issues.
We have been delighted to work together in delivering a range of internal communications to engage their staff across the year.
Huawei sponsored our research report ‘Living The Future’ about ‘the Technological Family and the Connected Home’ – which looks at the challenges and opportunities presented by new technologies in the home and their intensified use during the lockdown.
Huawei also reaches its large employee base through internal communications to help build awareness of Internet Matters and the resources readily available. We’ve also worked to co-chairing roundtable meetings to discuss key topics with parliamentarians.
As a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider and second largest manufacturer of smartphones and a touch point through multiple digital devices, Huawei recognise that the opportunities the online world offers also carry associated risks. Working with Internet Matters allows them to provide their large customer base with expert advice and tips on how to make online journeys safer.
