Corporate partner, Huawei, has a broad digital offering, from customer devices to network infrastructure. They’re passionate about improving online safety for kids across the UK.
What we are doing together
In 2017 Huawei joined us as a Corporate Partner. They intend to use their position as a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider and second largest manufacturer of smartphones to amplify Internet Matters’ internet safety message and provide support and resources for Internet Matters which gives UK parents, teachers and carer’s advice and guides about the latest issues.
Offering advice at the right time
We have been delighted to work together in delivering a range of internal communications to engage their staff across the year.
Huawei is a proud sponsor of our research report ‘All the World’s a Stage’ looking at parental attitudes across vlogging and livestreaming, a natural association as Huawei are committed to delivering these services through their extensive network infrastructure capability across our partner base.
Utilising reach and impacting policy
Huawei also reaches their large employee base through internal communications to help build awareness of Internet Matters and the resources readily available. We’ve also worked to co-chairing roundtable meetings to discuss key topics with parliamentarians.
Why support Internet Matters
As a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider and second largest manufacturer of smartphones and a touch point through multiple digital devices, Huawei recognise that the opportunities the online world offers also carry associated risks. Working with Internet Matters allows them to provide their large customer base with expert advice and tips on how to make online journeys safer.
