Online safety training

This report focuses on the importance of frontline services which directly support families: schools. Most children in England spend more than 30 hours at school per week. Some families look to teachers as a source of support in many aspects of life, educational and noneducational – including online life.

Schools and organisations can now book online safety training sessions for their parent community that can be delivered live online with Childnet.

Through FutureLearn, the University of Reading has created an online course which explores practical ways to help young people manage their mood and maintain healthy habits during the coronavirus pandemic.

This training from The Diana Award promotes the inclusion of LGBTQ+ and is free to primary and secondary schools in London and the West Midlands

Online training courses created by E-safety support are simple to distribute and monitor. They are a cost effective way to make sure your whole school community receives regular up-to-date training.
