Google Home

Google Home does not have a parental control centre. However, you can limit what can be played and searched on Google Play and YouTube.

A Google Account (email address and password)

Step by Step Instructions

Restricting explicit YouTube videos

Open the Google Home app.

Open the menu, click devices.

Select the Google Home device from the list available.

Under YouTube restricted mode, slide the slider to the right to block restricted content.

Restricting explicit songs on Google Play Music
Open the Google Play Music from app.

In the top left corner, click settings.

In the General section, click the box next to ‘block explicit songs in radio’ to turn on this feature.
