Nintendo DS and 3DS

Controls & settings guide

While Nintendo DS and 3DS are both older handheld consoles, they remain popular for both children and adults. The Nintendo DS consoles include connection to other DS consoles, internet, the Nintendo eShop, internet browser and other Nintendo services.

Nintendo is very comprehensive with parental controls. On the DS and 3DS, you can restrict content based upon the age restriction of the game, restrict browsing and block access to shopping services. All of this is accessed through a centralised parental control dashboard.
