EE’s Set Up Safe service helps to keep your children safe online by providing age-specific packages to block adult content, set spending caps, and stop them adding extra charges to your bill. There are three packages which range from under 9s, 10-12s and over 13s.

How to set parental controls on EE Set Up Safe

You will need access to your child’s device, an EE account (email address and password). You must be account holder to make changes.

You'll be invited to choose from the individual settings

These include content lock setting, adding a spend cap, stopping premium rate or international calls or blocking third party charges on your bill , or choose a package of our recommended settings based on the child’s age (you can choose from under 9s, 10- 12s or over 13s). Please note that these controls only work on EE network so if your child is using Wi-Fi it’s a good idea to also add filters on your home broadband through your internet provider.
