The report revealed that 1-in-2 teens have experienced bullying, with 1-in-10 having been bullied within the past week.

Key findings

Carried out by Ditch the Label,  this is the fifth and largest edition of this yearly benchmark of bullying in the UK.  Over 10,000 young people aged 12-20 in partnership with schools and colleges from across the country.

The report also found that the impacts on health, self-esteem, and performance are significant. 36% of those who had been bullied said it made them feel depressed and 1-in-4 turned to self-harm as a coping mechanism.
