With the support of Google, we’ve worked together to create an online safety programme to help families tackle the challenges that children face online.
From stranger danger to learning how to best manage their screen time, it covers a range of issues to ensure that parents are well prepared to help children address these concerns and learn coping strategies to deal with them.
The programme is aimed at primary school children and offers parents face-to-face time to discuss some of their own concerns and get the support they need.
Currently, the programme is being piloted at Google’s Digital Garage based in Manchester. To learn more about the programme and register for the course, visit the Google Digital Garage website.
