As proud supporters of this year’s Anti-Bullying Week 2016, we’d like to encourage parents and teachers to get children under 16 involved in this artwork calendar competition.
The Anti-bullying Alliance (ABA) who coordinate Anti-Bullying Week, have joined forces with ‘A Place To Hang Your Cape’ (AP2HYC) to bring you some brand new superheroes for a 2017 calendar.
More about Power For Good Calendar competition
The theme of the calendar is “Power For Good”, the same theme as Anti-Bullying Week. Its aim is to help and support children, parents and teachers use their ‘Power for Good’ to stop bullying.
AP2HYC are holding an open competition so children around the world can submit their artwork for a chance to be featured in the calendar. Anyone age 16 or under is eligible to enter. 12 winners will be selected to have their drawings featured in the “Power for Good” calendar.
There will be 1 ″Young People’s Choice” winner who will be selected by the ABA’s Young People’s Board. The remaining 11 winners will be selected by AP2HYC’s own superhero experts. ABA has 12 professional artists who will reinterpret the original drawings, breathing new life into the kids’ characters. Both images will appear side by side in the calendar. The competition closes on 16th September.
