What we are doing together

Barclays Digital Eagles believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore the internet safely. They’re helping to bridge society’s digital skills gap so that everyone can excel in the digital world, an important part of that is empowering parents and guardians to help their children make better decisions online.

Supporting our communities

The Digital Eagles’ free educational platform, Barclays Digital Wings, helps people boost their digital skills – whether it’s setting up their first email address, or discovering how to avoid digital fraud and scams. They believe everyone should have the opportunity to join the digital age with confidence.

Working in collaboration

In the ever-changing digital world, it’s important that adults and young people have the skills and know-how to navigate the online world, understanding it’s benefits and how to avoid its pitfalls. We’re working with Internet Matters because we believe our goals – to support people with digital education and awareness – are aligned.

Our relationship with Internet Matters has continued to grow from summer 2020, where we worked together to support people to understand how to manage their online reputation and digital footprint. Our Digital Eagles have partnered with Internet Matters in 2021 to develop co-created information to support parents, carers and guardians with in-game spending and social media scams to them guide their children towards financial safety online

The digital world can sometimes seem overwhelming. We’re passionate about helping everyone get the most out of digital, including parents, guardians and carers who have to develop the tools to guide and nurture children as they begin to explore the internet and all it has to offer. That’s why we’re proud to join Internet Matters as a corporate partner to support the work they do helping to keep children safe online.
